Knowledge to action: what makes it work and why?
Presented by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research
This pre-conference workshop, hosted by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), will explore how research evidence can help inform decision making to improve Canada's health system, including public health, with a focus on health human resources. Through a number of case examples and an open dialogue, it will aim to shed light on best practices and lessons learned from real-life knowledge translation collaborations. It will also provide an opportunity for researchers, decision makers and other health system stakeholders to discuss what works, what doesn't, and why, when it comes to using evidence to inform decision making.
